Foodies Flock to the Braselton Farmers Market
If you have a penchant for fresh produce blended with a fondness for supporting local farms, look no further than the Braselton Farmers Market. Returning to its popular summer hours, the Braselton Farmers Market will be open 4 to 7 p.m.
on Fridays from June 1st through August 17th. Each Friday, local farmers, bakers and merchants will sell their fresh fruit, produce and wares from tents set up on the patio of the historic Braselton Bros. Department Store building on Davis St. at Hwy 53 in Downtown Braselton. Consider yourself an aspiring chef? Then you’ll love making the 5-mile trek to the Market to select your fresh ingredients before returning to the gourmet kitchen of your home in Traditions of Braselton to concoct a mouthwatering masterpiece for the whole family to enjoy.

Aimee’s Bakery (Flowery Branch)
Specialties include: Brownies, lemon crinkles, snickerdoodles and oatmeal raisin cookies.
Best Friends Biscuits (Athens)
Specialties include: All-natural vegetarian dog treats.
Dahlonega Vegetable Farm (Dahlonega)
Specialties include: Corn, cabbage, tomatoes, onions, peppers, carrots, snap peas, potatoes, eggplant, okra, basil, cilantro, lettuce, strawberries, parsley, radish, broccoli, cauliflower, watermelon, cantelope, beans, homemade ice cream, jams and jellies.
