Can you believe it? America is turning the big 2-5-0!

This Independence Day is a massive milestone, the United States’ Semiquincentennial, and the historic towns surrounding Traditions of Braselton are going all out. Grab your lawn chairs, break out the red, white, and blue, and get ready to celebrate right in your own backyard.

Can’t-Miss Local Patriotic Celebrations

• Jefferson’s Freedom Festival & 5K (Saturday, June 27): Start the holiday week early in Downtown Jefferson! Kick off the morning with the 14th Annual Freedom Run 5K at Jefferson Middle School, then head over to Gordon Street from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM for the main festival. As an official stop on the national Freedom 250 tour network, it features great music, fantastic food trucks, and an unmatched sense of local community.
• Braselton 4th of July Vintage Market (Saturday, July 4): Spend your morning hunting for treasures on Harrison Street. This special holiday Vintage Market features beautiful handcrafted items, antique home decor, local artisan products, and plenty of delicious food trucks to fuel your shopping.
• “250 Years in the Making” Celebration (Saturday, July 4): Head to the Braselton Town Green from 5:00 PM to 9:30 PM for a spectacular evening of pure Americana. The festive parade kicks off at 6:00 PM along Highway 53, followed by live music from Platinum, the Southeast’s premier high-energy party band. To cap off the historic night, Braselton is lighting up the sky with a high-tech Patriotic Laser Show on the Town Green!

The Trolley Pro Tip: Skip the parking headaches by hopping on the Braselton Trolley. It will be running its regular route through town and local stops from 11:00 AM all the way until 11:00 PM (track it in real-time using the Ride Systems app)!
